The Granada Statue takes its name from the Spanish word for pomegranate, a reference made unmistakable by its hand-cast metal form. A dark bronze-finished rind splits open to reveal a gold-leaf interior, where bountiful seeds catch the light. A slender branch accented with leaves extends outward to hold a second unopened pomegranate in gold leaf, creating a gleaming counterpoint to the darker fruit beside it.
